This is my first attempt at any sort of "poetry" and since my GM said I could gain from RP out my Space Wolf's Battle Chants I decided to come up with some of my own....what do you think....(these are specifically made for my character's campaign, however if anyone wishes to use them feel free)

Blood and Death. the shields crack
War and Fear, the axes ring
The Allfather calls
Russ demands
For the Imperium we fight...we kill...we die!

Blood flows, we fight!
Shields broken, we fight!
Axes notched, we fight!
Bodies scared, we fight!
Enemies slaughtered, Russ calls...blackness take us...

Hear the Wolf, He calls you
Hear the Lion, He calls you
Hear the Wall, He calls you
Hear the Eagle, He calls you
Hear the Blade, He calls you
Hear the Allfather! Battle is joined!

Axes clash, shields smash
Spears fly, foes cry
Come Brothers! The fight awaits!
Come Sisters! Death nears!
Stand fast and show the Allfather's enemies who defends His domain!

To battle my Brothers! To battle!
Glory in the name of the Allfather awaits!
Fear not, for he shall see you
Faith in the Allfather shall be your shield
Rage against the Allfather's foes shall be your weapon
Let none stand before you!

A few chants I've used;

"Russ! Russ! Russ!
The Wolf King calls; let's not make him wait!"

"Rage! Fury! Anger! Wrath!
They all fuel me! Onwards; to glory! For Terra!"

"The Wolf King calls!
Howl in response, my brothers!
Howl at the Outrage!
Howl to show these traitors what we're made of!
Make them shiver!"

(these are things I've actually yelled out loud; my group is pretty awesome like that. They all answered by howling - that was beast.)

And some lines that have been said, which I find quite awesome;

"If Russ wants me to join him at his side, I am ready. So come - I am not afraid. I will drink mead before this night is out - one way or another!" - Malfarious Ragefist, to a Traitor Marine challenging him in battle.

"Traitors! Sorcerers! Blood-traitors! Raaaaaargh!" - Malfarious Ragefist, at seeing the Thousand Sons disembark on SSK227.

"If you feel that you need to vent this in any way, please do." - Adept Mirra Benath (NPC), before having his heart torn out of his chest by Erek Wyrdcaller, Runecaster.

"Xenos? I am not afraid nor should you be. Xenos meat is merely different meat. Like animals, they bleed. Like animals, they die. So they shall bleed. And they shall die. You have my word on that." - Jorek Whitemane, Heavy Weapons-specialist.

"Death itself, you say? Bringer of the Scourge? Bane of Mankind you say? Hmph. My pups would behead you in an instant. Get out of my way."
- Malfarious Ragefist to a Chosen One. It didn't end well. One arm and two legs later. Heheh. But now he's better than ever! Bionics is good for you. He killed the Chosen One by choking him with his last arm while clambering onto his back while the rest of the squad bashed at him from every side. The kill goes to Malfarious though. Another notch on the pauldron!

my signature is taken from an old norse rite which was also used in the film 13th warrior with a few alterations i could see a group Wolves chanting this when they expect to become worm food

Nice, I dig them!  Here's one I came up with.  I tried using the old norse alliterative verse style for it, in particular ljóðaháttr, (hey I had to wiki it to get the basics but it seemed like a fun thing to do).

Oath of Glory

Lo,
I see my brothers,
I see my Primarch,
Gone to glory before my time

Arm is strong,
Aim is true,
May my deeds by mighty

I stand with them,
In time and tale,
Prove my worth with wrath

We are Astartes,
Allfather's sons,
Fearbane and foe of defeat

Oath of a Space Wolf:

Thunder roars in the heavens
Lightning pierces the sky
Battle and Glory is upon us
A mighty howl, our battlecry

Suffer my Enemy to live
I give no quarter
To slake my battlelust
Their blood I see flow
I will spare no one
I spare none

Pride, to battle with my brothers
Valor in battle with my pack
To slay our enemies
To fell them all

For Russ and the AllFather
In service to the Imperium
For the honor of the Wolves
I am a Son of Fenris
