Not Into Time Travel...Will Forbidden Alchemy Work for me?

I was never all that fired up about stories involving time travel and the limits of the components. There's only one story like that as far as I know, and wasn't THAT story the one with all the problems?? If so, is everything else with FA fine?? If I'm wong, please correct me.
