I have played this game twice so far (2 and 3 player game) and I love it! However this  staff upgrade card is just way too powerfull and has given the victory twice to my opponents!

The card reads "for each star player on your roster at the end of the game without the freebooter ability gain 2 fans"

I mean it must be a typo, at the end of our games teams had between 4 and 7 stars, that means this card alone gives anywhere between 8 and 14 fans!

I think it would be more balanced if it was 1 fan per star.

There is a similar card with freebooters but since they are rarer (and weeker)  It might not be as unbalanced...

I waas basically crushing my wife yesterday and because of that card and the Reiver's team upgrade she won (she had 4 stars 1 was Reiver so both cards netted her a total of 13 points! and it just seemed very wrong.

get your team full with starplayers and get the staff upgrade card.

and 8 to 14 points isn't that much cause if they got 7 starplayers and both team/staff upgrade cards, they obv didn't go for too many fans before the end of the game.

My only balance concern is that some of the StarPlayers are by far weaker than others and drawing them actually hurts ;x

The team upgrade card I can live with, its the staff upgrade card that can work with any team and is worth between waht, between 6 and 14 fans?

 If you check the FAQ, you'll see that the Staff Upgrade card is now removed from the deck (along with some others) unless you're playing the new game variant.

yes, I guess I am not the only one who found this card broken...

How could you have 7 star players? You choose one per week and the game is only 5 weeks

you choose one from EACH payout!

So if the Headline is for example:

Left Side |  Middle | Right Side

Starplayer | Starplayer Starplayer | Starplayer

Each player gets one Starplayer card and takes this one.

The winner then takes 2 Starplayer Card and Chooses ONE to keep.

 SO the Loser gets 1 Starplayer and the Winner 2 Starplayers from just one Event.

Then you go to the next Headline.
