I thought I'd try to help spread word of a project that seems to have been going on since last year to create a new space marine chapter. The people who have been working on it have come up with some good ideas and theres even been some great commissioned artwork done to bring this new chapter to life. Check it out:

I really like the concept, and the art is fantastic…but "The Lantern Marines?!" it's a bit of a clunky name, isn't it? It doesn't roll off the tongue like the "Blood Angels" or "Carcharadons…" Maybe we can think of something else…hmmmm
OK, so they have lanterns on their armour…they bring the Emperor's Light to the enemies of the Imperium…so they're BRINGING light…
