Wonder if we will see the DW preview for this?

So how does the Free RPG day work?  Do you go to one of these retailers and pick up a quick play adventure from them or do you have to play at their store?  It's the first time I've ever been with in driving distance to visit a store that has one of these.

How they distribute is totally dependent upon the store's whim.  Look in the Rogue Trader forums for this topic from last year, you'll see several people reporting what their local retailers did to hand out the items. Personally, mine just handed items out to anyone who came in and asked for one, although making some sort of purchase from the store was "greatly appreciated."  Your best bet is to call the retailer ahead of time and ask how they're planning to do it.

Best part about knowing this is that my LGS store owner is a dear friend of mine.

I can pretty much be assured I will get my hands on the DW preview ^_^

The other stuff I am meh about.

Good link, thank you.

My wit and repartee allow not much for me to say, save the fairer sex indeed exists, even though males may yet subsist on tales spread abound that "No gurls on the intrawebs" can there be found, do you get the gist? Or shall my tongue and cheeky manner spin this into other banter.

The Deathwatch is my main interest but the other items are interesting as well.  I will have to ask my store tomorrow.

Thanks for the info.

Neat!  I was never fortunate enough to get any of the preview materials for Dark Heresy or Rogue Trader, so I'm definitely keeping my ear to the ground on this one!

And then my DH group will wonder where all these Space Marines keep coming from :)

Sigh...  When do the .pdf's become available online? Sadly, with the track record of my LGS' I won't be getting this.

You see the stores in my area, there are very few by the way, either don't bother getting the free rpg day packages  because they cost them money, or they only give things out to people that buy something else that day.  Something I'm really disappointed in.

So.. FFG powers that be, please put out a printer friendly version of this when you put it to pdf, assuming you do that, of course.

It'll likely be released as a PDF a few days later in exactly the same way as Fobidden Bounty was.

As for the adventure... I hope you all enjoy it, I know I did

I do not speak in any official capacity for FFG, all my posts are my own opinion, speculation, etc.

I hope so the retail finder didn't work my part of the world.
