Campaigns?

Has anyone given any thought to or has ideas for organizing a BoN campaign for two players?

I was thinking the campaign could focus on a particular theater at the operational level, rather than grand strategic.

Essentially, give each player strategic objectives, limited forces/reinforcement system, and a map to move on, and then resolve battles on the BoN boards.
