This is my first post and I really would like to know if only new register people will get the 10 points… or maybe, we that already have an register take this great points too.

Anyway, How I can trade my points for products ? :}

Sorry for my bad english.

Hugs from Brazil,
Cassiano.

It doesn't really matter since, to the best of my knowledge the points aren't currently used for anything.

Yeah, points are kinda worthless. But anyway, every time you open a new thread in a forum you never posted anything before, you score 10 points. If you've answered to any of the threads already existing there, your very first new thread in that forum is worth 5 points (and another 5 for the first answer you posted in a thread). So, as you can see, no more than 10 points can be scored per forum, regardless of the number of posts.

Plus you score an extra point for each friend you have.

Funny thing is that the guy with most points in the forum (you can crosscheck this in the stat page for the community) has something like 10020 points, with no friends and if you search for the messages he wrote in the forum, you score only one result.
