GM Question ref petty spells

Hi all,

Can someone point me to where it states that spellcasters get petty spells for free? I've found where apprentice wizards get Cantrip for free but can't find a statement ref petty spells. Either I'm just missing it (entirely possible) or it's possibly being mis-interpreted by our group.

"Certain careers may have access to other basic actions. For example,wizard careers start the game with a number of petty magic spells, which are considered basic spell actions, and Channel Power, which allows them to generate the power needed to fuel their spells."
