How do we import threads from the old boards to these new forums?

There was some discussion of this when the new boards (which are refreshing much quicker the last week or so) were unveiled. A couple of those threads really need to be here - especially in Off Topic. How do we do this?

I believe the only option is copy and paste. I don't think there is an actual import/export procedure/functionality.

I believe a better question would be about how to import people to the new forums 
. No one told me about the new pages, and I was beginning to worry about the lack of the activity on the old ones...
