Okay, I've yet to see recommendations for the delux sets. Fair enough. Are they simply more bang for the buck or just great starting points for new players? How do lizardmen and undead work? I presume the lizardmen have the savage rule and undead the…well yeah that's a given. Are they good units on their own? I've only tried the core set twice and loyalty cost seemed like a major point, how do neutral cards work in along that?

Legend seems interesting, is it as interesting as it sounds or does it end up being gimmicky?

The deluxe sets are definitely the way to go to start, just because they are more cards for the same money.  I think Legends are interesting.  March of the Damned will give you enough cards to make an Undead or Lizardmen deck, but most of the powerful Undead cards are in later sets.  Lizardmen seem to pair best with Empire or HE, but I never was able to make a good Lizardmen deck until the later BPs.  Not saying it wasn't possible.  As a new player, I would probably skip the first BP cycle for now.  There are some good cards, but the old format where you didn't get 3 of everything was just annoying.

Warhammer: Invasion rules question?  Check out the Rules Summary with card mouseovers.
