very nice card, but why he has "exacly three" ??? Elven Scout and Lore Seeker snare him down...

I didn't think of that. Throw a 4th resource on him and he is useless again.

first of all i LOVE the artwork...

now a weird idea...what would you think of a combo with Witch Hag's Curse?

i'm not sure yet but wouldn't this be a PRETTY good thing? a 4/4 unit for the cost of max. 3!

your thoughts?

I would try it. You could throw him in a dark elf deck(especially one with the Sorcerer of Tzeentch) and get 4 hammers for 3 or 4 resources. Might be a lot of work for not a lot of pay off though.

Yeah, but those are 2 pretty specific cards. I can't imagine anyone would run one of these 2 cards just to counter him.

LOL the strongest HE combo deck plays both: Elven Scout and Lore Seeker...

You know, the community would benefit much more from posting the deck than from a comment like this.

I don't mean to single you out at all, there have been many other cases like this in the past. Maybe I'm alone in being annoyed with this, but I think it would be so much better if people discussed the game in a helpful and instructive way instead of making short comments that seem a bit arrogant and which allude to decks or strategies few here might be familiar with. It's not like everyone's going "ah, of course, I forgot about that strong HE deck that is being played all the time" because for most people it isn't. If they have no idea what you're talking about your post is pointless to them, and the LOL might even make it insulting.

I agree, but that is the mentality around here. One will always be contra and another one will answer to something really fast, although not having read a post completly. In irony sometimes i'd like to post comments like these myself, but nobody would get it :D

However, posting decks is a nice thing. But most of the time, when you see a list of cards you won't be able to get a good view out of it. What you will need is a deckbox-link. Especially for HE-decks!!! As they are so complex at the moment in regard to spells and tokens. And i would really like to see the strongest HE deck atm, for i really think that Kaine has travelled the whole world and played against every single deck. He is the master.

I'm pretty sure Teokrata is talking about a High Elf deck built around abusing Dragon's Lair to get a bunch of dragons on the board as fast as you can. It uses cards like Elven Scout and Lore Seeker to throw resource tokens on it to create a dragon factory.

My I've never played against this deck, but have seen one in action. If they get going they are deadly, but with Dragon's Lair costing 4 resources, Lore Seeker costing 4 resources(counting loyalty), and Elven Scout having 3 loyalty the deck is too susceptible to rush. Also since Dragon's Lair is the linchpin, support hate is a huge weakness and the effect can only trigger at the beginning of your turn so you can't even chain its ability in response to a Burn It Down.

Overall I think this is a fun deck to play, but not a tournament winner.

I'm not sure on this, but i think Dragon's Lair is rather useless with elven scout and Loreseeker. I dont know if everybody knows: Pulling 2 tokens in order to get a dragon is not a seperate action from Putting a ressource token on it. Also the action is limited for the beginning of your turn, meaning for every copy of Dragon's Lair you can only get one dragon out if there are two ressource tokens on a lair.

+ Loreseeker and the Scout can only put a ressource token on a card which already has a token on it. Strictly spoken, the Lair will have to wait for 2 rounds with or without putting an additional token on it. The only good thing on this combination is, that you, once waited for 2 rounds, you might get a dragon every round for every copy of the lair if you manage your tokens well.

And that is that... :(

PLEASE YES

I would love to see these builds and I think it would help the comunity and the game so everyone can be playing at the same level against good decks without major tournaments that post deck lists its hard for players to build proper compeditive decks and if we can slowly get more and more people playing it would suck for them to go to an event have no idea about some of the best decks out their and get tooled in the first "organized" game they ever played
