Secrets of Arkham Reprint?
Published on 26 August 2011 - 10:13:09

Greetings, all.  I'll launch right into it: I'm considering buying some expansions/asylum packs.  I have my eye on Secrets of Arkham, but there is one issue I foresee.  Since the Summons of the Deep cycle has been reprinteded with three of each card, I am holding off on buying the Dreamlands cycle, as it will likely be reprinted likewise.  My question is whether Secrets of Arkham will receive a similar reprint.  Since Secrets of Arkham was released alongside The Yuggoth Contract, which was the first to implement the new system, I'm inclined to think it won't, but I wanted to know what others thought.

What remains, it would seem, has no artistic significance.

Its gonna have to be one of those "Don't hold your breath" type answers.

If the demand for a reprint is there they'll do it. But I wouldn't expect a reprint of Secrets of Arkham to be even considered for a year or two (if not longer) if it ever happens which it could very easily not do so.

My opinion, better to get it now than bet on something that you'll have to wait years to 'maybe' get a reprint.

Secrets of Arkham has already been reprinted once, and that reprint did not include an update to the newer 3x.

Will it in the future? FFG employees at last years arkham nights said that all LCG's will see the 3x update eventually.

When? Your guess is as good as anyones.

Thank you, everyone.  I will probably be the various other packs first, just to be safe.

What remains, it would seem, has no artistic significance.

there are shops that offer half of the SoA box. so byuing 1,5 gets you a complete playset (except stories, but you dont need them anyway).

could be its a little bit more expensive than the eventual reprint, but at least you dont have to wait.

Heya,

I realize this is an old thread, so I apologize for bringing it back but I am a new CoC player. Someone mentioned that there are shops that provide Secrets of Arkham in a 1.5 format, giving you a full play set. I've been looking for one, and can't locate any. Does anyone know what shops are offering that or if that is even still available?

Thanks!

I have never heard of any.  But you can probably ask here if anyone wants to split a set, or put your extra half-set up for sale.
